Skanska is a Swedish multinational construction and development company. At the end of the 20th century Skanska worked in Iran, one report of the Iranian Majles ( National Assembly ) has indicated an agreement between Skanska and the Behrood Company for the construction of an hotel. Skanska has allocated up to sixty million (60,000.00) US dollars in the form of a shareholder loan, of which at least (50%) will be brought into the country in cash through the banking system and, after conversion into rials, will be spent on project costs and the remaining (50%) will be imported into the country in the form of machinery, equipment and services.
